There are many applications and processes that use Acid for chemical dosing. These applications can be found in chemical plants, refineries, pulp and paper, power and other industries.
Diaphragm valves are the ideal solution for acid applications. The valves can be lined with chemically compatible materials and the diaphragm can be selected so to be chemically compatible with the media being conveyed. All other parts of the valve are fully isolated from the media. Further, the valve can be designed to be fully sealed and therefore prevents vapor leakage as well. Diaphragm valves are easy to maintain in line making them ideal for these applications.
