Industrial / Municipal Water and Wastewater

Water treatment applications are typically high-purity applications requiring minimal contact of the valve body with the conveyed media. Wastewater applications typically include suspended solids or require conveying of corrosive chemicals for water and wastewater treatment. Diaphragm valves are ideally suited for these applications!

Applications:

  • Chemical dosing
    • Lime addition
    • Carbon Slurry
    • Sodium Hypochloride
    • Ferric Chloride
    • Polymers
    • Sulfuric Acid
    • Sodium Hydroxide
  • Aeration process (minimum pressure drop)
  • Effluent Streams/control

Diaphragm valves are the ideal solution for applications in conveying corrosive, abrasive media, or media containing solids in suspension or in High-purity applications. Depending on the media, various body, body lining and diaphragm material options are available for chemical compatibility. The moving parts of a diaphragm valve are isolated from the media being conveyed resulting in durability and isolation. Further, diaphragm valves can be maintained in-line making them easy to maintain.
