Chemical, Bleach and others

Most chemical plants deal with corrosive, acidic and caustic media that require valves with special materials for wetted parts. Diaphragm valves are ideal for this application as they can be lined with a variety of targeted compatible materials and the moving parts are completely isolated from the wetted parts. Further, inline maintenance makes these valves easy to maintain and repair.

Applications:

Corrosive, caustic and acidic applications. For E.G.:

  • Sodium hypochlorite   (NaClO)
  • Sodium chlorate    (NaClO3)
  • Sodium chloride  (NaCl)
  • Chlorine dioxide   (ClO2)
  • Hydrogen peroxide   (H2O2)
  • Hydrochloric and sulfuric acid
  • Peracetic acid  (C2H4O3)

Diaphragm valves are the ideal solution for applications in conveying corrosive, abrasive media, or media containing solids in suspension or in High-purity applications. Depending on the media, various body, body lining and diaphragm material options are available for chemical compatibility. The moving parts of a diaphragm valve are isolated from the media being conveyed resulting in durability and isolation. Further, diaphragm valves can be maintained in-line making them easy to maintain.
